WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Guy Rancourt, Lycoming College's second-year head men's basketball coach, has been named D3hoops.com Middle Atlantic Region Coach of the Year. The Warriors finished the 2009-10 campaign 21-7 overall and 10-4 in the Commonwealth Conference. Rancourt led the squad to the title game of the conference's tournament as the No. 1 seed and an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III men’s basketball tournament.
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s basketball team, led by head coach Christen Ditzler, held its annual awards banquet on Sunday, March 14. Senior guard Jessica Zerbee was named as the squad's Most Valuable Player. A starter in all 22 games she played in this season, Zerbee averaged 8.3 points per contest and tallied a team-best 81 assists.
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College men’s soccer program, under the direction of head coach Scott Kennell, held its annual awards banquet Saturday, March 13. Senior defender Kyle Welsh (North Wales, Pa./Lansdale Catholic) was named the team's Most Valuable Player. He started all 19 games and registered a team-high 1,434 minutes of action. Welsh scored one goal and handed out three assists for five points.
